bucky waking up with an armful of steve rogers who still forgets after seventy years that he’s no longer small enough to fit comfortably under bucky’s chin so he’s curled up so tight it looks uncomfortable but as bucky puts his nose into the top of steve’s head, steve mumbles contentedly and tries to burrow even further into the crook of bucky’s neck. bucky smiles briefly before hauling him more securely into his arms and drifting back to sleep
